ChainCatcher 消息，据美國司法部南區發布的公告，加密貨幣交易所 BitMEX 因違反《銀行保密法》（BSA）被罰款 1 億美元。BitMEX 被指未能建立和執行反洗錢（AML）及客戶身份識別（KYC）計劃，故意規避美國法律以獲取收益。
其創始人及高管此前已認罪，公司於 2024 年 7 月認罪，並於 2025 年 1 月 15 日被判罰款及兩年緩刑。
