ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，Plasma 向所有参与 ICO 预存款计划的用户免费发放了价值 8390 美元的 XPL 代币，即使这些用户最终没有通过 ICO 购买代币。Plasma 表示在其主网测试版上线的三个小时内，半数 ICO 参与者已经领取了他们的代币。
Plasma 是一个为稳定币优化的一层区块链，使用 XPL 代币驱动其基于质押的共识机制。项目获得了 Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino 和 PayPal 联合创始人 Peter Thiel 等人的资金支持。
