ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 報導，索尼銀行已通過其子公司 Connectia Trust 向美國貨幣監理署（OCC）申請國家銀行牌照，以從事"涉及加密貨幣的特定活動"。
根據申請文件，索尼銀行計劃發行與美元掛鉤的穩定幣，維護相應的儲備資產，並提供數字資產托管和管理服務。該申請加入了越來越多尋求 OCC 牌照的加密公司行列，包括 Stripe、Coinbase、Paxos Trust 和 Circle。
