ChainCatcher 消息，中国银行在老挝完成两国首笔数币跨境二维码消费支付业务。在中国人民银行和老挝央行相关部门共同指导下，中国银行首批参与两国数字支付和央行数字货币合作项目的跨境试点工作。
同时，中国银行万象分行首批接入中国人民银行数字人民币跨境数字支付平台。中国银行通过提供实时汇率报价及高效清算服务，完成老挝境内商户二维码支付的生产验证。该项业务服务将大幅降低中老跨境结算门槛，中国游客在老挝境内消费时，无需兑换外币，只需打开数字人民币 APP 扫码商户二维码，即可按实时汇率直接完成本币支付；老挝本地商户无需额外改造收款设备，沿用既有方式即可实现资金的合规自动到账。
