ChainCatcher 消息，SlovakBitcoin 開發者、RustBitcoin 庫維護者 Martin Habovštiak 發布一項概念驗證，在未使用 OPRETURN、Taproot 或 OPIF 的情況下，通過單筆交易將一張 66 kB 的 TIFF 圖片文件寫入比特幣區塊鏈。該交易可在鏈上公開驗證，並可解碼為完整圖像文件。
該實驗被視為對 Luke Dashjr 推動的"反垃圾"軟分叉提案 BIP-110 的直接挑戰。BIP-110 前身為 BIP-444，擬限制鏈上數據寫入規模，部分支持者認為此類數據存儲行為偏離比特幣作為"貨幣"的核心定位。
