他表示，期待衝突降級似乎為時過早，美國的能源獨立性使其能夠免受油氣價格持續高企的影響。同時，能源價格上漲讓人們懷疑美聯儲是否還能如先前預期般在年內降息兩次。Turner 預測美元指數本月可能回升至 100，目前已漲至 99.221，創下六週新高。
