ChainCatcher 消息，美國洛杉磯一名前警員 Eric Halem 因參與針對加密資產持有者的暴力脅迫案件，被陪審團裁定綁架及搶劫罪成立。
案件發生於 2024 年洛杉磯 Koreatown 一處公寓內，Eric Halem 及同夥冒充執法人員入室，持槍控制一名 17 歲加密資產持有者，並奪走存有約 35 萬美元比特幣私鑰的硬碟。相關指控最高可判處終身監禁。
