据财新网报道，香港海关公布近期在香港国际机场侦破两宗空运走私怀疑贵金属案件，检获约168公斤怀疑黄金薄片及约285公斤怀疑白银薄片，估计市值共约2.3亿港元。以走私物品的市值计算，这是海关有记录以来破获的最大宗走私贵金属案件。
根据香港《进出口条例》，走私属严重罪行，任何人输入或输出未列舱单货物，一经定罪最高可被判罚款200万港元及监禁7年。
