ChainCatcher 消息，洛杉矶 Koreatown 居民 Bruce Choi（34 岁）于周二在旧金山国际机场被逮捕，被控电信欺诈和洗钱罪。
联邦检察官指控其以虚构公司 “Premier Republic” 的名义，提交欺诈性经济损害灾难贷款申请，骗取约 200 万美元新冠疫情商业救济贷款，随后将资金转入加密货币交易所 Kraken 的账户用于购买加密货币。调查中，检察官查封了近 40 枚 BTC 及其他加密货币。若罪名成立，每项电信欺诈指控最高可判处 30 年监禁，洗钱指控最高可判处 10 年监禁。
