Luke Dashjr, known as Luke-Jr in the Bitcoin world, is a Bitcoin core developer and former chairman of the OCEAN mining pool. He has been contributing to the Bitcoin Core code since 2011, responsible for adding BIP 22 and 23 protocol support, and maintaining the Bitcoin Improvement Proposals section on GitHub. He released BFG Miner in 2014, which has become one of the most widely used implementations of Bitcoin mining. In addition, he founded Eligius, one of the first Bitcoin mining pools, which is anonymous and requires no registration.
