Bitwise CIO: Compliance ICOs May Become the Core Driving Force of the Next Crypto Bull Market

According to The Block, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated that the launch of Coinbase's new token sale platform marks a significant turning point in the way capital is formed in the crypto industry. Compliant ICOs are expected to reshape financing models by 2026 and become a key force driving a new bull market.

Hougan believes that after Bitcoin reshaped "digital gold," stablecoins reshaped "digital dollars," and asset tokenization reformed trading and settlement systems, the fourth phase of the crypto industry will be a decentralized revolution in "capital formation." He pointed out that Coinbase will launch a rigorously vetted token project every month, with the first project being Monad (MON), whose token sale will take place from November 17 to 22.

Hougan predicts that by 2026, multiple compliant ICOs with a market capitalization exceeding one billion dollars may emerge, creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs and investors, and strengthening the long-term investment logic of crypto assets.
