ChainCatcher 消息，据 Crowdfund Insider 報導，嘉信理財（Charles Schwab）很快將在其投資平台上提供加密貨幣交易。目前的策略是打造一個"超級應用"或"全能平台"。像 Coinbase 這樣的加密原生平台率先達成了這一目標，而曾經創新的在線券商在這一概念上卻步履蹣跚。
全新的嘉信理財加密貨幣帳戶在初期將提供比特幣和以太坊交易，逐步進入加密領域。該公司此前已在美國證券交易委員會（SEC）批准後，提供了以加密貨幣為主題的交易型基金（ETF）。從一開始，嘉信理財加密貨幣帳戶將在美國除紐約州和路易斯安那州外的所有州可用，並且平台由公司內部開發。
