香港金管局總裁：購買穩定幣應使用受監管渠道，首批發行人擬未來數月內開展業務

ChainCatcher 消息，香港金融管理局總裁余偉文表示，今日已授予首批穩定幣發行人牌照，根據持牌人的業務計劃，待相關準備工作完成後，擬於未來數月內開展業務。
余偉文稱，期待發行人按計劃開展業務，在管控好風險的同時積極拓展發展空間，推廣合規穩定幣的應用，解決金融和經濟活動中的痛點，同時公眾人士應對任何聲稱與持牌人或其發行的穩定幣有關的欺詐活動或騙局保持警覺，當購買或使用穩定幣時應使用受監管渠道，如有疑問應查閱金管局的紀錄冊以核實持牌人的身份，或聯絡持牌人作進一步查詢。
