Về BigCoin
BigCoin, or BIG, is an onchain mining game deployed on Abstract that replicates and scales the emission mechanics behind Bitcoin. It keeps a fixed supply with per-block halving, capping BIG at 21 million and halving the block reward every 4.2 million blocks.
Unlike proof-of-work mining that needs physical rigs, BigCoin is fully virtual: users buy miners and facilities with BIG, where miners contribute hashpower and draw power and facilities set how many miners fit and how much power is output, with rewards distributed each block in proportion to a user's share of network hashpower and no hardware required. A large share of the BIG spent on purchases and upgrades is burned to create deflationary pressure, and the project also runs badges, leaderboards and hashpower optimisation rewards, with a cooldown between facility upgrades.
In July the community contributors who took over said they had no tie to original creator Bigtoshi, turned miners into NFTs and pivoted Merge Mining into a token launchpad; on October 21 the Merge Mining contracts finished development and audit but a weakening Abstract market kept them from shipping.
In early 2026 the Merge Mining launchpad was still listed as under development and had not opened to users, with documentation describing it as audited but with v1 still being built; on-chain data from May 2026 shows BIG/WETH remained the most liquid pair on Abstract, and the community team kept evaluating a cross-chain migration and the Bigcoin v2 path.
BigCoin will stay with Merge Mining and the launchpad model, finish the cross-chain migration and v1 delivery first, then onboard vetted launches and route miner hashrate into new token liquidity.
