The venue matches major tokens against the yen, separates individual and corporate accounts, and runs an OTC desk for large quotes where execution price and on-chain transfer are handled separately to limit slippage at settlement. In November 2024 the Hong Kong-listed OSL group agreed to acquire a majority stake, completing in January 2025; the brand was renamed OSL Japan that February, with the business shifting toward OTC and localised products for Japanese retail users while the team and licence entity continued.
