Frictionless

Frictionless is a decentralised over-the-counter protocol for the EVM ecosystem, aimed at an old problem in large transfers: once a project or a large holder sells on market the price drops, while going off-market means relying on middlemen and risking failed or fraudulent deals. The protocol writes the trade into a smart contract, escrowing both sides first, so it either executes as agreed or reverts entirely, and nobody has to send first.

Execution runs along three paths. A public offer wall lets anyone post a quote that others can fill in parts rather than taking the whole size at once; private channels serve whitelisted counterparties, suited to transfers between teams and treasury swaps; and when the protocol cannot fill the full size internally, routing falls back to external pools and splits the order by depth. Pricing comes from a multi-hop engine that triangulates across pairs and references deep liquidity for a fair level. The FRIC token covers fee discounts, access to private channels and governance votes.
