Về Kora
Kora is a privacy transaction protocol built on the Canton Network, using that network's privacy-native ledger to achieve restricted disclosure of counterparties and amounts. Its mechanism targets institutional and regulated scenarios, preserving confidentiality while meeting necessary compliance visibility.
Kora positions itself as a privacy-oriented DeFi trading layer, at the junction of confidential finance and compliant disclosure. Its mechanism modularizes permission management, transaction privacy, and audit views, so specific counterparties see only authorized fields. The project targets financial institutions and professional participants who care about trade confidentiality yet must operate within a regulatory framework.
Kora spent 2026 making Canton Network spot trading usable for institutions. Its v2 added gold and silver pairs quoted in USDCx in September, running on gasless execution and a Privy-hosted wallet, with audited contracts and a non-custodial design. Daily volume passed $7 million on October 5, and by October 14 cumulative volume since launch two months earlier topped $150 million with more than 2,500 traders. Derivatives and real-world assets are still listed as coming soon, leaving spot as the only live product line.
At Kora, derivatives and real-world assets are both in development, the first aimed at private perpetuals and the second at private placement and secondary trading of tokenized assets. Both rest on Canton's private settlement and extend the audited, non-custodial stack, starting with a small set of institutional clients.
