LYK is LayerK Chain's native token, used for gas payments, staking delegation, and governance. Network revenue is used monthly for buyback-and-burn of LYK; total supply is fixed at 1 billion.

Về LayerK
LayerK is an EVM-compatible standalone blockchain paired with AiX hardware nodes that form a compute network: each machine provides 4 CPU cores, 12 GB of memory and 256 GB of storage and runs commercial workloads including decentralized VPN, residential proxy, bandwidth supply, blockchain validation, AI training bandwidth and CDN, with revenue settled in USDT. LYK has a fixed supply of 1 billion with no inflation mechanism, and network revenue is used monthly to buy LYK on the open market and burn it; the contracts were audited by Zokyo in 2025 and the burn address is publicly checkable on the explorer.
The architecture splits into three layers: the LayerK chain, AiX nodes and the Homnifi access layer, with node holders reaching VPN, ad-blocking and other apps through the App Store. In July 2026 BitMart announced an orderly wind-down and LYK spot and futures trading ended on August 26, a delisting caused by the venue's closure rather than the project itself, with LYK still tradable on LBank and others. The transparency page shows zero machines online, zero cumulative revenue and zero burned, with the first monthly burn yet to occur, leaving the mechanism's effect to be confirmed by onchain data.
Delisting and platform wind-down: BitMart announced an orderly cessation of its exchange operations on Jul 26, 2026, ending LYK spot and futures trading on Aug 26; the delisting stems from the exchange closure rather than the project itself, and LYK remains tradable on LBank and other venues.
Buybacks and burns: Since Jul 3, the buyback-and-burn mechanism has run publicly via the official Resources page: network revenue is used to buy LYK on the open market and permanently burn it, with supply fixed at 1 billion LYK and burns verifiable on-chain; AiX1 node device deliveries have also started.
On July 1, 2026, LayerK opened a resource buyback and burn dashboard that channels 100% of compute revenue into buying LYK on the open market each month for destruction, with public execution starting July 3. Deliveries of AiX1 node devices began in the same period, with 1,081 machines online against a planned fleet of 3,881, totalling 4,324 CPU cores, 13TB of memory and 276.7TB of storage.
During 2026 the LayerK App Store introduced its first node-side applications, including a decentralised VPN, network-level ad blocking and a CPU-based Bitcoin hash contribution engine, with the node centre and machine validator following in the third quarter. LYK has a fixed 1 billion supply, of which about 190 million, or 19%, was circulating in September 2026.
LayerK will pursue a B2B-first path to grow genuine compute demand, scale to 3,000-4,000 nodes per country within 36 months, and let burn volume grow in step with the fleet.
Erwin Dokter — Founder; leads LayerK's blockchain and hardware node ecosystem and is involved in the related WalleK wallet project.
