Về LayerSwap
Layerswap is a cross-chain transfer protocol that began by solving direct deposits from centralised exchanges into Layer 2 networks: a user withdraws from an exchange to a protocol address and the protocol pays out the equivalent on the destination chain, removing the two-step route through mainnet. It has since expanded into general swapping across 62 chains.
Mechanically the protocol maintains liquidity pools funded by market makers: once a user deposits on the source chain, the pool on the destination chain releases the matching asset at the quoted rate, and market makers earn the spread and fee. Quotes include bridging cost and slippage, so the final amount is visible before confirmation, an explorer lists the status and duration of each order, and an API lets developers embed transfers in wallets or apps. Contracts and integration documentation are published for third parties to check the flow of funds.
The Layerswap app shows cross-chain swaps and bridging across 62 chains, while its documentation claims more than 70 blockchains and over 15 centralized exchanges; Ready (formerly Argent), Paradex, Immutable, Linea, Clave and Nostra use its API or widget for deposits, with Paradex capping USDC deposits at $500,000 per transaction.
LayerSwap's V8 atomic bridging design replaces multisigs and oracles with PreHTLCs in roughly 200 lines of code, letting any network deploy the contract permissionlessly and run its own liquidity; a bridge deployment API completes a trust-minimized deployment for a new chain in about five minutes. Coverage stood at 55 chains in November 2024 and exceeds 70 by current documentation.
LayerSwap plans to spread the PreHTLC standard to more virtual machines and new chains, grow coverage through permissionless deployment, and keep pushing the $2 to $3 flat fee lower.
LayerSwap charges a route-specific percentage service fee, cited at 0.05% in its documentation, on top of a per-transfer fixed USD bridge cost and any on-chain swap market impact.
