Về Load Network

Load Network is a high-throughput EVM layer 1 focused on on-chain data storage, renamed from WeaveVM in March 2025. Its design decouples storage from execution: the execution layer uses Reth client extensions to serialise each block in Borsh, compress it with Brotli and write it to Arweave for permanent archiving, while the storage layer exposes an S3-compatible object interface whose hot cache shares the same data ID and provenance as Arweave, allowing programmable migration from temporary to permanent tiers. Node components are packaged as HyperBEAM NIF modules, so a node missing one component can buy that compute from another node and pay in AO, and EVM precompiles let Solidity contracts read and write Arweave natively.

The site lists 125 MB/s of bandwidth, 100,000 TPS, a 492 GB single-bundle limit and about $429.7 million of data value stored, priced at roughly $0.02 per GB per month for S3 hot storage and $13.9 per GB for permanent archiving, positioning Load as a storage and data-availability layer for L1s, L2s and data-heavy applications. On 24 August 2026 the token of Permacast, a podcast and media archiving app built on Load with a pay-once-store-forever model, began trading on Kraken, using Load as its application layer.

On 8 April 2026, Load Network handed its open-source code and design IP to KYVE Network. The Load EVM L1 stays live and part of the engineering team joined KYVE to handle migrations and future upgrades. A week earlier it completed the Ultramarine consensus layer and final stress tests, putting mainnet launch into preparation. The two sides had already embedded KYVE's Trustless API at the protocol level, with precompile 0x21 reading permanently archived Ethereum blob data.

Load Network's Future strategy and roadmap: KYVE now takes over mainnet release and upgrades, merging Load's Arweave archival capability with its validation layer while continuing archival and DA services for Metis, RSS3 and Dymension.
