NEET

NEET, short for Not in Employment, Education, or Training, is a community meme coin issued on Solana through a launch platform in the first half of 2025 with a total supply of roughly one billion tokens. The name comes from a UK government report's category for young people outside work and school, which internet subculture converted from an insult into an identity, with the token turning that identity into a holdable symbol.

What separates it from ordinary meme coins is offline activity: the community used creator-fee rebates from the launch platform to fund physical gatherings, holding anti-work demonstrations on Wall Street on 20 May 2025 and in Times Square on 3 October 2025, paid for by on-chain fee revenue. The community also produced a document called The Ten Commandments of Neet whose contents run against the stereotype, urging members to go outside, stay fit, invest carefully and keep up friendships. The price path carries the usual meme-coin signature of multiple drawdowns above eighty per cent followed by renewed attention, and the X account @neet_sol serves as the main official channel.
