Về OP_CAT Layer
OP_CAT Layer is a Bitcoin-native execution layer started in 2024 with a live mainnet, and its product stack includes a Chrome extension wallet, a BTC bridge, the SatSwap AMM, token launch tooling, and the Ordbit NFT marketplace and launchpad. It bets that reactivating the OP_CAT opcode gives Bitcoin script covenant capabilities: concatenating data and verifying Merkle branches, enabling smart-contract-like logic and trust-minimized bridges on Bitcoin. For now its BTC bridge starts with MPC-based custodial signing, on-chain transactions run through the CAT protocol, and the security model emphasizes quantum resistance and post-quantum key support.
Among Bitcoin L2 projects, OP_CAT Layer frames its narrative around smart contract capability and agent-to-agent payments, with an ecosystem reference list including StarkWare, OKX, UniSat, and DotSwap. The more than 4,700 project adoptions and 30 million CAT transactions claimed on its website are self-reported figures without independent third-party verification, and there is an architectural gap between the MPC starting point of the bridge and its final covenant-bridge form.
On February 12, 2026, OP_CAT Layer held a small launch event in Hong Kong to introduce its Bitcoin-native execution layer, built around real smart contracts, a trustless bridge and OP_CAT-based token standards.
On June 11, 2026, ClawChat, an on-chain social protocol co-incubated by OP_CAT Layer and OnePiece Labs, entered public beta after an alpha that drew more than 10,000 participants; the second beta round had about 200 users and added OKX, UniSat and Binance Wallet. OP_CAT Layer plans to connect Catena Wallet, SatSwap and Ordbit into a closed loop for issuance and trading, and bet the narrative on payments and settlement between AI agents.
