Openmesh

Openmesh takes the form of a compute futures market on Solana, splitting GPU-hours, vCPU-months, memory GB-months, storage TB-months and bandwidth into standardised deliverable contracts, so compute moves from deal-by-deal quotes to a commodity with a public reference price. The pain sits on the supply side: GPU capacity is locked in bilateral contracts, prices are opaque, buyers cannot hedge rental costs and sellers cannot monetise committed capacity. Openmesh prices each instrument off its own reference index, quotes GPUs in dollars per hour, verifies machine model and uptime for listed supply, and settles quarterly against physical capacity rather than cash, with margin and default rules enforced on-chain.

The product line runs on that one index: spot quotes for daily rental, forwards for locking a delivery quarter, and the index as the settlement benchmark. Unlike general DeFi derivatives, the underlying is physical compute, so pricing needs off-chain data on facilities, hardware and power, and clearing depends on a vetted supplier registry. Ten listed instruments cover four delivery quarters, and verified GPUs sit across roughly 30 sites, concentrating deliverable capacity in those facilities.
