Penomo Protocol

Penomo is a green-energy RWA credit platform that converts renewable assets such as solar farms and storage batteries into tradable micro-shares, letting developers and operators raise capital through revenue-based peer-to-peer lending while investors hold tokens representing a share of asset cashflow. It targets the illiquidity and high bank-credit barriers of green assets by connecting asset cashflow directly to a global capital pool via tokenization. Its core mechanism uses smart contracts on peaq to tokenize assets and link revenue streams, with peaq IDs and peaq pay providing wallet and payment functions, a secondary market for battery tokens, and data monetization plus carbon credits (IRECs) as extra issuer revenue.

In the ecosystem Penomo is tightly bound to peaq's green tech stack and serves energy developers, operators and yield-seeking investors; unlike pure compute-selling DePIN projects it is backed by asset cashflow. Its security-token issuance currently targets qualified investors, and opening the retail secondary market remains constrained by local regulatory frameworks.
