ZBX is a trading platform for European markets offering spot trading, fiat funding and institutional accounts, operated by Malta-based Zillion Bits. Cross-border users on venues with unclear jurisdiction often find custody, order execution and fiat conversion split across entities, and commingling client assets with house funds widens both accountability gaps and run risk.
Matching and custody run on separate books, orders fill by price priority and fiat rails are handled by licensed payment institutions, with cold and hot wallets tiered by balance and withdrawals requiring multiple approvals; orders and cash flows are logged separately, and compliance admits clients by jurisdiction, monitors trading and samples flows by risk tier, holding unusual transfers for review. In February 2025 the Malta Financial Services Authority granted a crypto-asset service provider licence covering custody, platform operation, fiat and crypto exchange, placement and transfers, eight services in all, usable across 29 European countries under passporting.
ZBX charges 0.5% to both buyer and seller on crypto-to-crypto trades, and the same 0.5% on each side of fiat-to-crypto trades.
ZBX charges 2% on OTC trades executed through its trading desk, and card purchases carry a 0.5% trading fee plus a 4% card service fee with a 5 EUR minimum.
Feb 5, 2025, ZBX obtained a Malta Financial Services Authority Crypto-Asset Service Provider licence under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation， covering custody， exchange， transfer and platform services; plus a Malta Financial Institution licence for electronic money token payments.
