SN39 is used for Bittensor subnet staking and incentives, distributed through liquidity pools and validator and miner rewards. The token has a burn mechanism, and emissions follow the subnet's dynamic rules.

Về basilica
basilica is subnet 39 on the Bittensor network, positioned as a marketplace for high-performance GPU capacity. Providers take on jobs by bidding, and users submit work through a command line or an interface, getting usable machines within minutes for model training, fine-tuning, inference, or agent workloads.
Rather than competing on price alone, it puts reliability and hardware quality first: validators confirm a machine's real configuration through direct SSH attestation and cryptographic checks, and miners post a token bond as a delivery guarantee that can be slashed if they fail to deliver. It connects with Templar and Grail, two subnets in the same ecosystem, covering the path from training through inference, and its command line tool reduces starting, monitoring, and tearing down a node to a handful of instructions.
Key developments: After operator Covenant AI announced its exit from Bittensor, Basilica overhauled its architecture and kept operating independently, striking a subnet partnership with Gradients (SN56) to host reinforcement-learning evaluation workloads; on May 4 it released Python SDK v0.29.0, adding distributed-training deployment, a training decorator, scaling controls, and logging metrics.
