블룸버그 보도에 따르면, 미국 상품선물거래위원회(CFTC)는 FTX 붕괴 사건과 관련하여 전 FTX 엔지니어링 책임자 니샤드 싱과 합의에 도달했다고 발표했다. 합의에 따라 싱은 370만 달러의 불법 수익을 반환해야 하며, 5년 동안 거래를 금지당하고 8년 동안 CFTC에 등록할 수 없다. 싱이 조사에 적극 협조한 점을 고려하여 CFTC는 추가적인 금전적 벌금이나 배상 요구를 하지 않았다.
