Về Cetus
Cetus is a concentrated liquidity exchange deployed on Sui and Aptos and one of the main trading venues in the Sui ecosystem: liquidity can be placed in chosen price ranges, fees come in four tiers, an aggregator splits orders across pools for better fills, and there are intent-style features such as limit orders and recurring buys, transferable liquidity positions and vaults that rebalance ranges. It targets automated market makers that spread liquidity across the whole curve, wasting capital and producing high slippage on large trades.
The technical bar is range and tick management, where any boundary error can be drained by arbitrageurs, so the team put security verification first: after a major exploit it worked with a formal verification firm and in May 2026 completed machine-checked proofs of core market-making and tick logic, with the aggregator adding a new market-making route in June. By September 2026 it handled about 34% of Sui DEX volume with roughly $29 million locked, still a leader, though liquidity across the ecosystem is visibly thinner than eighteen months ago.
Revenue and holder rights: xCETUS stakers receive about half of net protocol profit, with the other half repaying a $30 million loan from the Sui Foundation. CLMM TVL was $23.4 million on September 16 with $392.6 million of 30-day volume and $588,000 of fees, about 89% below the $268 million peak.
Compensation release: Under the settlement for the $223 million May 2025 exploit, 15% of supply went to victims, with 10% vesting monthly over 12 months from June 10, 2025 and finishing in June 2026. TVL recovered to $29.2 million by September 28, and Cetus still earns the most fees on Sui.
Cetus completed its security rebuild and ecosystem expansion in 2026. After the May 2025 $223M exploit, in 2026 Cetus finished formal verification of its core CLMM protocol and tick logic with AsymptoticTech, setting a new security benchmark on Sui; the Cetus Aggregator went live on Abyss, extending its reach as key trading infrastructure; cumulative unique accounts surpassed 18M and it integrated Navi Protocol's Copilot. On-chain data shows that as of September 2026 Cetus TVL stood around $23M-$33M with roughly 21-23% 30-day TVL growth, accounting for about 30% of Sui DEX volume.
Cetus' future strategy sustains security-first expansion: building on formal verification to keep strengthening core liquidity infrastructure, advancing the DLMM discrete-price-bin pools and aggregator routing, and consolidating its position as Sui's largest DEX and liquidity gateway.
