Về Kava
Kava is a Layer 1 built on the Cosmos SDK whose co-chain structure runs native Cosmos modules alongside an EVM-compatible execution environment, so users can move IBC assets and deploy Ethereum-style contracts on one chain. It targets the shortage of unified lending venues for non-Ethereum assets: BTC, ATOM and BNB often end up stranded in single-chain pools after bridging into DeFi. Kava mints the USDX stablecoin through collateralized debt positions, validators produce blocks under Tendermint BFT consensus, prices arrive through cross-chain oracles, and liquidations clear through auction modules.
The product set includes the Kava Lend money market, Kava Earn strategies and USDX minting, with Cosmos holders and cross-chain leveraged traders as clients. Compared with appchains focused on trading, Kava puts lending and a stablecoin at the protocol layer while the EVM side absorbs contracts migrated from Ethereum. Between June and September 2026 Bitfinex and Bitvavo delisted KAVA, and Bitvavo converted remaining user balances into euros.

Delisting wave: Bitfinex announced the removal on June 23 and halted spot and margin trading on July 3, with withdrawals open until August 31; Flipster dropped KAVA perpetuals on July 15; Bitvavo said on September 7 it would delist on September 18 and force-convert balances to euros.
Fundamentals: Supply has been zero-inflation since January 2024, with about 1.083 billion tokens fully unlocked and no buyback or burn; on-chain DEX volume is only about $10,000 to $14,000 a day and the token hit a low of $0.0396 on June 5.
On 2 March 2026 Kava published an annual roadmap splitting stablecoin liquidity, tokenised assets and decentralised AI into quarterly phases. The first quarter focused on deepening native USDT liquidity, which already accounted for 88% of stablecoin depth in the ecosystem; the second quarter opened the real-world asset push with a flagship tokenised financial product and agent tools that let users execute multi-step trades and compare yields in natural language.
The third quarter is slated to scale onchain liquidity for tokenised products through incentives and market making, expand DeCloud GPU provisioning and explore euro- and yen-denominated stablecoins, while the fourth quarter turns to distribution through partner wallets, fiat onramps and dApps, alongside deeper deModel and compute infrastructure. The earlier Kava 15 upgrade had already ended annual issuance in favour of a fee-based model.
Kava execution hinges on closing the loop between USDT rails, tokenised products and AI agents, using DeCloud compute as a differentiator for financial products and onboarding more institutional issuers within compliance limits.
