Về WhiteBIT
WhiteBIT is a Europe-headquartered centralised exchange offering spot, futures, fiat on-ramps and custodial wallets, matching through a central order book with internal clearing, so user assets sit on the exchange ledger rather than in self-custody; fiat rails connect cards and local payment methods, and institutional clients get APIs and sub-accounts. Its own Whitechain handles part of on-chain settlement and gas, linking internal accounts to on-chain addresses, with WBT used for fees and incentives on that chain.
Orders run through a central book and are booked on the internal ledger, with withdrawals paid out from hot wallets in batches; institutional users isolate strategies and permissions in sub-accounts, and the API supports batch orders and position queries. Whitechain carries fee settlement priced in WBT and part of on-chain transfers, with exchange accounts mapped to deposit addresses. Fiat rails cover cards and local European payment methods, quoted in USD and EUR.

Buyback and burn: WhiteBIT spends the equivalent of 33% of trading fees and 5% of other exchange income buying back and burning WBT, aiming to cut total supply to 200 million; eleven rounds between June 14 and August 24 removed 583,391 tokens, taking supply from 166.19 million to 165.61 million.
Progress: WBT hit an all-time high of $72.70 on August 24, briefly valuing it near $16.1 billion; the full supply finished unlocking in 2026, Whitechain is moving to an OP Stack Ethereum L2 with mainnet due this year, and WBT stays its native gas token.
In 2026 WhiteBIT accelerated global compliance and ecosystem expansion. On April 24 it signed a five-year partnership with FC Barcelona; on May 20 it launched its UK platform; on June 19 WhiteBIT EU obtained a MiCA licence in Austria, and on June 9 its founder became a significant shareholder in Dutch sports-car maker Spyker; on July 7 it added SWIFT USD transfers. On August 14 WBT marked its fourth anniversary at a $16.1 billion market cap and a global top-10 spot; on August 18 Whitechain relaunched as W Group's distribution-first Ethereum L2; on October 8 it added Lightning Network support.
Future strategy and roadmap: After WhiteBIT EU secured an Austrian FMA MiCA license in June 2026, the exchange will launch a dedicated platform, whitebit.eu, for European users. The next focus is binding WBT's deflationary burn (33 percent of fees and 5 percent of other revenue) to its on-chain ecosystem, and continuing to broaden reach via its five-year FC Barcelona partnership. Following Lightning Network integration in October, WhiteBIT plans to apply its Whitechain layer-2 payment and settlement capabilities to more fiat rails, aiming to expand European institutional and retail coverage under a licensed framework.

WhiteBIT charges 0.1% for both spot maker and taker orders, with rates differing on some pairs.
WhiteBIT charges 0.01% maker and 0.055% taker on futures, and states that the rate for any single pair is capped at 0.055%.
WhiteBIT holders of its WBT token reduce maker fees by up to 100% and taker fees by up to 90%, while its market-maker programme quotes spot maker as low as -0.012% with taker at 0.020%, and futures maker at -0.012% with taker at 0.025%.
WhiteBIT holds a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation crypto-asset service provider licence from Austria's Financial Market Authority (June 2026), for spot trading, custody and transfers across the European Economic Area, plus virtual asset service provider registrations in Lithuania and Spain.
